HR Manager - Kuwait

Job Purpose:
The Human Resources Manager leads and oversees all people-related activities within the organisation, ensuring the effective delivery of HR strategy, policies and programmes that enable business performance and organisational growth. This role is accountable for the end-to-end employee lifecycle, including leadership of the graduate programme, and provides both operational and strategic HR support to drive capability, engagement and workforce effectiveness.
Accountabilities:
Graduate Programme Management

Support the design, implement, and oversee the graduate programme, ensuring it aligns with NATS’ strategic goals.

Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and training of graduates.

Develop and maintain partnerships with universities and educational institutions.

Monitor and evaluate the performance and progress of graduates, providing feedback and support as needed.

Organise career development activities, including mentoring, coaching, and professional development workshops.
Recruitment and Onboarding

Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from job posting to selection.

Develop and implement effective onboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.

Work closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide recruitment solutions.
Employee Relations

Address employee queries and grievances in a timely and effective manner.

Implement and maintain employee engagement initiatives.

Ensure compliance with labour laws in Kuwait and company policies.

Conduct investigations and manage disciplinary actions as necessary.
Training and Development

Identify training needs and develop training programs to enhance employee skills and performance.

Organise and facilitate training sessions, workshops, and seminars.

Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make improvements as needed.
Performance Management

Oversee the performance review process, providing guidance and support to managers.

Develop and implement performance improvement plans where necessary.

Monitor and analyse performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
HR Policy and Compliance

Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures.

Ensure compliance with local labour laws and international HR standards.

Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to HR policies and legal requirements.
HR Reporting and Analytics

Maintain HR records and prepare regular reports on HR metrics.

Use HR analytics to inform decision-making and improve HR processes.

Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
Essential skills and experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g. CIPD, SHRM) preferred.

Minimum of 10 years' experience as an HR Manager, with at least 5 years of experience in Kuwait – with a focus on Generalist HR management and graduate programmes.

Fluent in both English and Arabic

Experience in the aviation or transportation industry is a plus.

Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and procedures.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Knowledge of local labour laws and regulations in Kuwait.

Ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Ability to develop and implement HR strategies that support organisational goals.
